5 AMAZING SAD TO SEE IT END STARS!
WOW what a wonderful journey it has been reading this brilliant series, I read this book with a mixture of hate and love!
I hate that the journey with Jonathan has come to an end, but loved every moment of it.
CD Reiss has a way of spinning a tale that enthralls the reader, the connection I felt with the characters was so strong. I read the book in one sitting and when I got closer to the end, I wanted to stop reading as I didn't want it to end. The characters growth was evident here, Monica and Jonathan's devotion to each other was so heart warming.
Let me tell you that if you did not read this series, you are missing out severely.
I have a serious case of girl crushing on CD Reiss, she is lucky she lives so far away otherwise it would be a case of serious stalking. I love you Ms Reiss
I do have a tendency to ramble on and on about books I love and give many things away as my reading buddies know! I make no apologies for it! However I will not spoil this book for others. All I can say if you HAVEN'T READ THIS SERIES YET, YOU ARE MISSING OUT!

OMG Mira,THANK YOU for recommending this book! I freaking loved it!!I wasn't sure IF I should read it, having not read any of the other 'In The Company of Shadows' books but it was amazing.

The amazing story line.
The flawed characters, ALL OF THEM!
My Gordon who is truly a survivor, his thoughts made me laugh, cry ( poor Gordon )and just fall in love with him.

I really hated how everyone put Gordon down except for Adam and Clare, just made me furious!!!
So I will only say this to them.....
I truly loved the ending, seemed just right. Couldn't imagine it ending any other way given how the story penned out! Otherwise I think it would have seemed totally out of character and just missed the mark!
However I really would not mind more of Gordon and Adam..........

ARC provided by author in exchange for an honest review!I am really enjoying these installments, love seeing how Vincent and Kristen work on their relationship, work on building trust as well as overcoming insecurities and obstacles that come with a new relationship- especially with Vincent being so busy all the time.
THE SEX IS HOT, however I could do with less talking on their parts and more doing! Still it was HOT!
Just when everything is going well, in comes Ariel! Not this cutie.....
But an ex of Vincent bent on causing havoc!! All is explained though not to my or Kristen's satisfaction!! We are not happy but we will let it go for now!!
THEN a freaking cliffhanger!
Well done Ms West, the next installment can't come soon enough!
3.5 StarsI wasn't sure how to rate this, kept going from 3 stars to 4, then I went with 3.5 because while Dazzled was a well written book, it wasn't something I was really blown away by!

Dazzled was a really funny romance, not laugh out loud funny but made smile quite a bit!
I just did not connect with any of the characters, Miles -though sweet- was too naive and blind for my liking. Clare did not fare better either, the way she believed him straight away after their conflict and did not question him was a serious WTF moment for me. To accept his sudden declaration of undying affection just like that made me want to bang their heads together. Seriously he may not have rammed it in everything that moved, however his habit of falling for his co-stars so quickly showed that the dude obviously confused lust with love!!
I do think many will enjoy this, it is well written, sweet and had funny moments but just didn't do it for me!
THAT WAS SO FREAKING GOOD! SHURA you know I'll love you always but from a scale from 1 To Shura, Jamie is a Shura!

4.5 STARS!!Boy meets girl, they feel an instance connection, boy turns out to be girl's boss, YOU THINK YOU KNOW WHAT WILL HAPPEN but man was this book so unpredictable!
Our Mr James is HOT, I was a goner the moment the dimples were mentioned...
The connection between the two was believable, the author managed to convey the sexual chemistry greatly.
I was annoyed with Elyssa and Alex's jealousy issues and immaturity, hope to see much needed character growth in the second book, oh yeah there is a second book. Every time he would get jealous or she would act insecure, I wanted to scream!!
When they finally did the deed, IT WAS HOT, Especially the one in the dance club, YUP PUBLIC SEX!
The moment Alex's secret was revealed, I was completely shocked as it was something I never expected!
AS FOR MY FEELINGS FOR ARIANNA, WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?!!! EWWWW EWWWW EWWWW!
Looking forward to reading more about Alex and Elyssa and sharing their journey towards the HEA....

5 NO MORE TURNING A BLIND EYE STARS!ALL I CAN SAY IS WOW! MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE BOOK OF THE YEAR!
This book may be fiction but it is authentic, it is honest, it is intense and it is confronting. It may not have happened to the author, may not have happened to me or a dear person, but IT IS HAPPENING THIS VERY SECOND TO A CHILD SOMEWHERE, COULD BE EVEN AS CLOSE AS NEXT DOOR!
A thirteen year old should not hurt so much, no child should be subjected to so much hurt, not one person is deserving of what this poor child went through!

What I dislike about this Series is that the female leads who are all connected either by friendship or blood, seem to be the only ones with any dignity while the rest of the female population is trashy, desperate and with no morals!
The cheesy factor was quite high and the sex scenes were meh...
I guess this one wasn't for me but I'm sure there are others that will enjoy it, I HATED IT!

Sebastian let me start this by saying.....
Yup dinner at your place isn't something I will be attending anytime soon!
Lately I have been starting sequels by not expecting much!
HOWEVER THANK GOD FOR ADRIANA NOIR and her not turning Sebastian into all hearts and flowers kind of guy, as opposed to what we have seen of him in the first two books. It seems the norm lately to completely turn the male lead into a sniveling pussy-whipped character, yes I want him to love, protect and be loyal to the female lead but he doesn't need to lose any semblance of manhood in the process!
This book had me swooning one minute and horrified the next, this was exactly my reaction throughout but I'm not as cute!
Sebastian is so REAL, his actions and thoughts are exactly what we would and should expect from someone in his position. I love his flaws and vices which he is trying to change for the sake of his and Taylor's relationship. There is still cruelty in him that scares me but also a willingness to transform into the man Taylor needs.
TAYLOR I LOVED in this one!! Well all I can say she loves Sebby despite everything, she is loyal to him and determined to stay which is for the best as we know she cannot leave. I see growth and maturity in their relationship and would love to see what book 4 brings for both of them!
On the SKALS front, things are not really going as Seb would want, he lost trust even in his closest allies, THERE ARE SOME REAL MESSED CHARACTERS IN THIS ONE THAT MAKE SEBBY LOOK LIKE A SAINT . CANNOT WAIT TO SEE WHAT HAPPENS NEXT.
So glad there is fourth book yay...

DNF @ 30%I was so looking forward to this book! waited months for it but started reading it and I just got BORED!!!!!!
Looking at all the 5 and 4 Stars ratings had me thinking that this must be some masterpiece of Shakespearean proportions that I just didn't get and I was like what is wrong with me?!!
Then I thought to hell with it, this book wasn't for me and I'm fine with that!!
Will try to get to it later on! For now I will stick with Dex, guess Camden is not for me....
THIS BOOK WAS FUNNY, THERE WERE PARTS THAT WERE JUST HILARIOUS! I was giggling so much that my husband abandoned the marital bed for the night seeking quieter pastures- even my dog followed him, the traitor!!Adam was a sweetheart, loved him so! Charlie was an adorable heroine until towards the last third of the book where her insecurities drove me mad but she made up for it at the end....
NOW FOR MY FAVORITE, GRANDMA! GOD I LOVED HER!
